Your adventure begins as you arrive in Errachidia, where a warm welcome from your driver awaits. You’ll immediately set off on a beautiful drive through the verdant Ziz Valley, one of Morocco’s most stunning palm-filled canyons. Make scenic stops to admire the views and snap photos before continuing to Erfoud, a town renowned for its fossil industries and date harvests. After a short break here, the route leads you to the majestic dunes of Erg Chebbi near Merzouga. Settle into a comfortable desert hotel, savor a traditional dinner, and enjoy the rhythm of Berber music under the starlit sky.

 After breakfast, you’ll venture out on a full desert discovery tour. Begin in Khamlia, a village inhabited by the descendants of sub-Saharan Africans known for their hypnotic Gnawa music. Next, ride off-road across the desert to visit nomadic families who still live in traditional tents. You’ll enjoy mint tea and freshly baked bread, perhaps even share a homemade Berber pizza for lunch. Later in the day, mount your camel for a slow-paced trek into the glowing dunes at sunset. Tonight’s accommodation is a luxury desert camp, equipped with private ensuite tents. Enjoy a candlelit dinner and live music around the campfire.

 Rise early for a sunrise spectacle over the dunes, followed by breakfast and a return camel ride to the village. Once you reconnect with your driver, head towards Rissani, a desert market town rich in heritage and home to Morocco’s Alaouite dynasty. If your visit coincides with a market day, explore its vibrant stalls. Next, stop in Arfoud to tour a fossil workshop, then continue past the palm groves of Tinjdad and Touroug. The journey leads you to the Todgha Gorges, a photographer’s dream with towering red rock walls. Finally, drive along the winding Dades Valley, passing the iconic “Monkey Fingers” rock formations before checking in at your hotel for the evening.

 After breakfast, the road leads westward through the Valley of Roses in Kalaat M’Gouna, famed for its fragrant rose products and springtime festival. Continue through Skoura’s palm groves to reach Ouarzazate, also known as the Hollywood of Morocco. Here, you can visit Atlas Studios, where many famous films and series were shot. Next comes the grand Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a fortified village with earthen clay architecture and UNESCO recognition. After exploring the kasbah, cross the spectacular High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi-n-Tichka pass. As you descend, the landscape shifts, and you finally arrive in Marrakech by late afternoon or evening, where your tour concludes with a relaxing stay in a traditional riad.
